My name is Richard Schwartze and I'm a game developer currently living in Toronto, Canada. Born and raised here, I took an early interest in video game development and began experimenting with a number of development tools such as 3D Studio Max, Photoshop, various programming languages and game engines.
I eventually began to gravitate towards Game Design, focusing my efforts on prototyping core gameplay of an RTS that allows the player to take control of the soldiers they are commanding from a First-Person perspective.
After devoting a significant amount of time to this I decided to work towards building a career in video game development. I was lucky enough to find employment in a AAA studio locally at Ubisoft Toronto, where I was hired as a Development Tester for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. From there I moved into management, and am currently working as QC Project Manager on an unreleased title.
